The last popular tuning we are going to talk about is open G. The open G tuning is as follows: D G D G B D pretty simple, every string either.. moves a whole step down (two frets) or stays the same as the standard tuning. All you have to do is tune the 6th, 5th, and 1st string down one whole step and your done.
