Just Another String
So things are starting to get interesting, you have come this far and you understand alot of guitar tapping techniques and are ready for the next step. Hopefully you have done a majority of the exercises and think you are ready for the steady increase of difficulty. Now we are going to be talking about sliding chords with your right hand, this is a technique that really sets electric tapping and acoustic tapping apart. Just like you would tap a chord just press your first two fingers down and straighten your fingers and slide forward or backward.
Try sliding around an octave:
Remember if you straighten your fingers you will have more control over where you are sliding.
Now for the real exercise, this will give context to where you can slide chords. And when you transition strings try to keep on the beat as much as possible.
